Passion Chalice

This chalice is called a Passion Chalice because of the scenes on the base, it has hand painted picture enamels around the knop and hand engraving round the bowl and under the base . The paten that goes with it has a hand engraved picture on the back, made these for a priest in the US when his friend saw it he ordered one as well , here are both the patterns as they are different The stones on the chalice are Garnets.

Silver Chalice Commission for US Priest 2022

This is a commission chalice I made for a priest in the US. The cross on the base was made from the gold and stones from his mothers engagement and wedding rings, the large diamond on the bowl comes from another piece of jewellery, I used it for the engraved text round the bowl. He chose the font engraving he wanted, and the stone knop is lapis as it matched the stones on the cross. Below is the bowl patent that goes with the chalice. It has a hand engraved centre

which was to his own design.

A Replica of the St Cuthberts Cross Individual Commission

St Cuthberts Cross replica. A specially designed individual commission. The silver cross measured 3″x3″, the stone in the middle was a garnet and the inset is cloisonné enameling, totaling 48 individually laid sections.

The Silver “Abraham” Processional Cross

An example of a Special Hallmarked Sterling Silver commission, designed by Caustin Bros Ltd and made by Mark Munson. The “Abraham” Processional Cross, complete with sectional silver decorate metal stave, and fitted leatherette case. The designs are based on the famous Abraham stone which is the gravestone of Hedd and Isaac, sons of Bishop Abraham killed by the vikings in 1080. The design has the feeling of a wheel Cross, yet is still traditional. The design of the enamel on the front center of the cross is taken from the Abraham stone, and the enamel on the back of the Cross is the Coat Of Arms from the Cathedral. The main Cross blade is hand wrot (hand hammered) with the remaining silver highly polished
