• Chalice, Ciborium and Open Paten Commission 2016

We commissioned two Chalices, a Ciborium, an open Paten, and Monstrance from Mark for our new school chapel. The service offered to us by Mark was outstanding from start to finish. He was more than happy to help us come up with designs and ideas and incorporate what we had asked for into his designs. He visited us the school to help us and to ensure we were getting what we wanted. When the pieces arrived we were delighted. The craftsmanship and quality of all the silverware that Mark made for us is outstanding. Having such service and quality means we would definitely use Mark again and would highly recommend him to others. All our new vessels will be cherished by the school for years to come. –Paul Spellman, Head of Religious Studies –Salesian College, Battersea.

  • Ciborium Commission 2014

sanctuary-lamp The 'Jenkins Ciborium’ was delivered to us this morning and it was consecrated at the Palm Sunday Eucharist. To say that it is beautiful is an understatement. Everyone is simply delighted with it. Thank you very much for the time and trouble you have taken over the various negotiations about detail, etc. The customising is a great success. The knop in the design of our east window is triumph. I could not be more pleased.sanctuary-lamp –L

    • St Cuthbert Cross and Chain

st-cuthberts-cross-replicaI was already delighted with the cross and chain when I opened the parcel yesterday, but when I got home and was able to examine the cross by magnifying glass, I was even more pleased. The quality both of your silversmithing and of your enameled's work is incredible, and there is a huge amount of detail which I had never expected could be put in without it becoming prohibitively expensive. This really is an extremely accurate replica of the St Cuthbert's Cross - far more so than I ever expected when I commissioned it. I look forward to seeing the original in Durham later this summer; I shall expect to be even more impressed by your work when I can compare yours against the original. Thank you for your hard-work; I look forward to talking to you about my next project this Autumn. Yours Sincerely,–Dr T

    • Pectoral Cross Commission

557164_591372180909671_1502875911_n Dear Mark I just wanted to let you know how delighted all the ex-curates were with the unique pectoral cross you made for us, and that the new Bishop of Monmouth was absolutely thrilled with it when we presented it to him. As his Chaplain at the service I had the honour of presenting it to the Archbishop of Wales to place upon Bishop Richard. It was the object of much discussion after the service. Bishop Richard is looking forward to wearing for his first visit to see the sisters at Ty Mawr Convent, whose ‘Christ on the living tree’ inspired us in commissioning the cross from you. Here is a link to the Diocesan Facebook page where the cross is on display! Image 1 Image 2 Many thanks once again. All good wishes –Fr John
